Two Lifeboats

Following on from the latest government announcement we are now under Tier 5 restrictions which means we are unable to open at present. We’re so disappointed that we won’t be able to welcome you all back to the pub, but we hope we will be able to do so soon.  Thank you all for your understanding and support, as always, stay safe and we’ll see you soon.

Room bookings for April 2021 onwards are now being taken with Covid secure payments. Any booking that is cancelled due to Covid will be fully refunded. We anticipate a huge increase for rooms this year’s ‘staycations’ so book early to avoid disappointment.

The Two Lifeboats was originally a coffee shop and Fisherman’s Mission circa 1720.
The public house is named after the Augusta & Duncan lifeboats that rescued a crew of eight from the wreck of the Norwegian brig Caroline on December 6th 1882.
Steeped in history and fully refurbished to a very high standard we opened to the public in June 2012.
Offering not only high standards of surroundings, we pride ourselves on providing a quality affordable family offer.
We look forward to welcoming you.
